You will arrive either at the heart of the Rochelle City at the foot of the famous towers, either in the Perrotine Channel in Boyardville on the east coast of the island. In both cases, it will be the Starting point ideal for a day of discovery.

At the arrival of the boat, shops and restaurants welcome you. Take advantage of the daily market on site to discover and taste the specialities of the Ile d'Oléron.
Nearby, discover the large forest of the Saumonards lined with beautiful sandy beaches, the start of many bicycle paths, the site of Fort Royer and its oyster farm.
Possibility to rent bikes in Boyardville.
In July and August, from Boyardville, free and regular shuttles serve the island's villages, beaches and tourist sites.

In a remarkable setting, between the salmon forest and the Moeze-Oleron Nature Reserve, bordered by the Perrotine channel, you will find in Boyardville a very lively place in the summer season with restaurants, bars and terraces overlooking the port and its sailboats. Numerous sea trips are possible from the Boyardville harbour: catamaran trips, a tour of the Fort de Boyard, a stopover on the island of Aix or a stroll in La Rochelle. You will also be able to practice many water sports; canoeing, jet-skiing, kayaking or stand up paddle.

In partnership with campsites and hotels in Oleron that are committed to the environment, from the beginning of July to the end of August4 free shuttle lines serve the island 7 days a week:
- Blue route : The Château d'Oléron : Chéray by La Cotinière
- Green route : Le Château d'Oléron Chéray by Boyardville
- Orange route : Saint-Trojan les Bains : Le Château d'Oléron
- Red route : Chéray : Lighthouse of Chassiron by La Brée les bains and Saint Denis d'Oléron
